Welcome to the deep, and sometimes dark, poetry of mine. Take your time, browse around and maybe you'll find some work you like and maybe you will be disturbed by others. Enjoy the journey and maybe you will find something to take with you along the way. Leave a comment, thought or observation if it helps you. In here some things just are.

The "P" word
The Ugly Polygamist
The ugly polygamist cried out
in horrid screams
from the sacrificial pyre
he begged for forgiveness, redemption
and absolution.
I have lived an unfinished life
he cried tears of fear and
spewed a mouthful of mucus
reaching out for the comfort of hands
no longer there
Oh were I only to embrace the tongue
of my God, Michael, and Mary
Only had I known the misery I would inculcate
in a water-filled ditch he flayed and floundered
I have become the sewers into which
I have thrown the innocence of others
I have become the abomination
against whom I proselytized
The church eyed him with scorn
the congregation spat on his hem
the bedeviled took joy in his condition
only the Lord would redeem him
The innocent washed their hands of him
the future of damnation and retribution
welcomed his footsteps with mocking anticipation
Satan set his dinner table by the clock of his black soul
