Dear God

Whisper to me. 
close to my ear
say what I need to hear
tell me that I am alright
let me know that I am loved.
I will whisper to you
today I am sober
today I did not use drugs
I am so young and vunerable
only you can guide me
and care for me
my gift to you is my sobriety
your gift to me is my life
every day when I rise
I will try to remember to
say thank you.
